国际红树林中心与亚太森林组织签署合作谅解备忘录

On July 28, 2026, the International Mangrove Center (IMC) and the Asia-Pacific Network for Sustainable Forest Management and Rehabilitation (APFNet) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation(MoU) in Shenzhen, China.

Prof. Bao Daming, Director General of the Secretariat of the IMC, and Dr. Wang Chunfeng, Executive Director of the APFNet, signed the MoU on behalf of the two organizations

According to the MoU, the two sides will strengthen cooperation in policy dialogue, demonstration projects, capacity building, information sharing, and partnership expansion. Together, they will advance mangrove conservation and restoration, continuously enhance the quality and effectiveness of mangrove management, and promote the multiple ecological and social functions of mangrove ecosystems.

APFNet is a non-profit international organization dedicated to advancing sustainable forest management and rehabilitation in the Asia-Pacific region, while the IMC is the world’s first inter-governmental international organization dedicated to mangrove conservation. The signing of the MoU will help leverage the respective strengths of both organizations and jointly support economies in the Asia-Pacific region in accelerating mangrove conservation and restoration efforts.
